Beginner Calligraphy Workshop – 14 Sept (Early Bird)
This Workshop is for 14 Sept 2025 // 10:30am - 1:00pm

Come join me for a gentle, beginner-friendly introduction to the art of calligraphy!
This is a hands-on workshop where I’ll introduce you to your tools, show you how to set up your space, and help you settle into a comfy writing position. Then we’ll ease into some simple basic strokes which are the little building blocks of the calligraphy alphabet. We’ll go through some repetition to build muscle memory, so that by the end, you’ll be ready, confident (and hopefully excited) to write your own name in calligraphy ✨
This 2.5 hr workshop is all about slowing down, finding joy in the process and embracing the beauty of each stroke. Past attendees have shared how calming and mesmerising it felt for them. And if you’re feeling unsure because of messy handwriting, don’t be! That does not matter here at all.
You’ll go home with everything you need to keep practicing at your own pace. Just bring yourself (or grab a friend), for a creative afternoon together!
What you’ll learn:
• Setting up your tools
• Basic Strokes
• Lower Case
• Overview of Uppercase and connecting of letters.
• Kit to take home.
