Join me for a cozy beginner calligraphy workshop - for the first time on the North Shore! π«Ά
Held the day before Motherβs Day at a cafe, itβs the perfect chance to slow down, get creative and enjoy some meaningful time with your mum, friends or to simply treat yourself. No experience (or tidy handwriting) needed!
In this hands-on session, Iβll introduce you to your tools, show you how to set up your space, and help you settle into a comfy writing position. Then weβll ease into some simple basic strokes which are the little building blocks of the calligraphy alphabet. Through repetition, youβll build muscle memory and confidence, so that by the end, youβll be ready (and hopefully excited) to write your own name in calligraphy! β¨
This 2.5 hr workshop is all about embracing process, not perfection. Past attendees have shared how calming and mesmerising it felt for them and I hope youβll feel the same too. Youβll go home with everything you need to keep practicing at your own pace.
What youβll learn:
β’ Setting up your tools
β’ Basic Strokes
β’ Lower Case
β’ Overview of Uppercase and connecting of letters.
β’ Your very own kit to take home
