A morning of calligraphy, brunch and creativity ✨
Join me for my final calligraphy workshop of 2026! We’ll spend the morning learning the fundamentals of modern calligraphy using a traditional dip pen - the kind of tool you might imagine being used by candlelight, dipping your nib into a little pot of ink before penning a very important letter.
Whether you’ve always wanted to try calligraphy or simply want to spend a morning slowing down and trying something hands-on, there’ll be plenty of time to practice, enjoy a relaxed brunch and get comfortable.
This workshop is designed for complete beginners with no previous experience (or good handwriting) needed. Come curious and remember that it’s all about embracing the process, not perfection 🌸

🕰️: 10:30am–1:00pm
📍: The function room at Field’s Café, 4 Appian Way, Albany, Auckland
// What you’ll learn //
In this hands-on session, I’ll introduce you to your tools, show you how to set up your space and then we’ll work through the basic strokes together which are the building blocks of the calligraphy alphabet . Eventually, we’ll bring it all together so you can start creating your own calligraphy.
// What’s included //
• 2.5 hours of guided calligraphy instructions
• A take-home calligraphy kit with everything you need to continue practicing
• All workshop materials provided
• A $25 food and drink voucher
Spaces are limited to ensure each person gets the attention they need to genuinely learn and enjoy the experience 💫🫶

• Tickets – All sales are final and non-refundable. However, if you’re no longer able to make it, you’re more than welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else. Just let me know their name in advance.
• Schedule Changes – In the case that the workshop needs to be rescheduled or canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, you’ll have the option of a full refund or a spot in a future session.
• Minimum Guests - Workshops need a minimum number of attendees to go ahead.
• Photography - By attending the workshop, you consent to being photographed and having your imaged used for promotional purposes. If you’d prefer not to be photographed, please just let me know.
